Syncros
Syncros history
The Syncros adventure started in a garage in 1986 in Vancouver when two friends Pippin Osborne and Peter Hamilton, looked to improve some of their bike components to match the need of the quickly progressing mountain biking discipline.
From then, Syncros was born. Keeping the same ethos as when it started, Syncros core mission is to build bike components that show extreme strength, performance and durability.
In 2012, Syncros joined the Scott Sports group and, the two brands have seen some great collaborations as featured in the Scott bikes collection.
Built to last and resist anything thrown at them, you will never have to worry about your Syncros parts. Using the latest technologies and high-end materials, Syncros develops bike parts to please the most passionate and hardcore cyclists and beginners alike.
Syncros components
Syncros handlebar, Syncros stems and Syncros saddle are probably what the company is best known for. In Syncros early days, the Cattleprod and Cattlehead stems were some of the most innovative in the market, using machined aluminium and titanium when most welded stems were made out of steel. The ProSeries seatpost tow-bolt micro-adjust system for saddle positioning has been copied many times and is still vastly in use.
Syncros accessories
Adding to the original line of bike parts, Syncros developed a full range of bottles and bottle cages, pumps, bike bags and saddlebags. True to its mission, these accessories are practical, bomb-proof and durable.
