As we are reaching the end of December, we finally managed to tally all our member's kilometres and activities for last September's steps challenge. We can now announce an impressive result!
Our team cycled 2166.32 Km, with Karl from our Long Mile Road store, cycling a staggering 1250km alone!
We ran 538.6 km and walked 325.3 km. Marek, our warehouse manager, deserves a special mention as he walked an impressive 221.2km!
Other activities included kayaking, paddle boarding and hillwalking as our team members enjoyed the Indian summer. The gym bunnies showed their strength, mixing gym workouts, strength and conditioning sessions, yoga and pilates. September also saw the return to rugby training for our online team member Dan.
Altogether, we raised €500 for the Laura Lynn Foundation and are pleased to say we donated this amount just on time for Christmas.
