Kids bike range

We have a huge range of children’s bikes from top brands such as Raleigh, Scott and Ridgeback. Getting children into cycling from a young age is important as it provides outdoor exercise for them but in a fun way that they enjoy.

Balance Bikes

We have balance bikes which are suitable from 2 years of age. Balance bikes are perfect for teaching kids how to ride without pedals. The child scoots along by sitting on the saddle and moving their feet backwards and forwards, keeping either one foot or both feet on the ground at all times. They learn basic cycling skills; balance and coordination whilst having great fun and looking good.

Your child's first bike

The smallest first bike with pedals would be a 12” bike. These are usually suitable for children aged 3+ years. It does depend on your childs height as every child is different. Our most popular 12” bike would be The Raleigh Pop - Pink for girls The Raleigh Pop - Black/Blue for boys.

What size bike does your child need?

A rough guide to what size bike your child would need is as follows:

14 inch bike – 3-5 years

16 inch bike – 5-7 years

18 inch bike – 6-8 years

20 inch bike – 7-9 years

24 inch bike – 9-11 years

26 inch bike – 11+years

Most bikes from 12” to 16” come with stabilisers included. If they are not included we can fit stabilisers onto them. The biggest bike you can attach stabilisers to is a 20” bike.
